The farmhouse is surrounded by the green nature and by the silence which corresponds to Mariet's tastes, far away from the confusion but at the same time very close to the marvellous villages of the East coast of the region Liguria and to the town of La Spezia (only 12 minutes by car) which is comfortable for bulk purchases and daily requirements. All these advantages induced Mariet to do not hesitate too long and to buy the farmhouse.
Slowly (five years) with a lot of patience and with the right and aware knowledge for conservative renovating works it was given birth to the B&B 'Il Tulipano”. Today this B&B and room renting is finally opened. It is situated in the village “Rì” in the municipality of Riccò del Golfo, right behind the charming and unique “Cinque Terre” with their villages on rocks (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso), and its terraces cultivated almost exclusively with grape vines which go down to the emerald green sea.
You have the possibility of visiting, touching, tasting and taking pictures of all this, by foot (for trekking fans), the trails marked out by the C.A.I. pass very close to the company, or by car on the panoramic roads which will be indicated to you by the landlady, or, as an alternative (especially during the high season), you can take the train (all trains stop at the railway stations of the 5 villages) after having left your car on a comfortable parking place in La Spezia. During your holidays you should not forget to visit Tellaro, Fiascherino, Lerici, Portovenere and Sarzana (interesting because of its history and the market of antique furniture and of antiquities in general). Surrounded by chestnut woods, the B&B “Il Tulipano” is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
Here you will be waken up by the birds' twittering, and you will be able to admire the Eurasian Buzzard's (small birds of prey) slow and majestic way of flying high above your heads.
All rooms are equipped with bathroom/WC and heating, and they are furnished in a rural style. Wood beams, stone walls and stairs and parquet floors are typical for the farmhouse.
Mariet will inform you about all other details (there is a lot to know) when you will contact her. She will be pleased to hear from you, and she will be happy to welcome you.
